Her version's probably the most famous.
It was however written by Kris Kristoffersonssen. Or Mr. Kris Kristofferdopolis as I like to call him. _________________ Have you ever seen a Squonk's tears?

| Well that was highly quirky and enjoyable in the aforementioned ironic way. Incredibly gentle and retro, lounge music at its genuine best. And yes, romantic in the traditional and much-missed way.

By totally ignoring it. I think it was more a case of ending it prematurely. A bold move - brevity is the soul of wit and all that... _________________ Have you ever seen a Squonk's tears?

| What got me was not that he was especially 'cringe' at the easy listening lounge singing, but just how alien and archaic the songs/arrangement was, like 1920s foxtrots or something. I think I'm old enough to remember when they were if not contemporary, well old-fashioned, but they could still be considered a form of 'pop music' It was fine for what it was, ★★ Too late to change it to ★★★? _________________ a "couldn't care less, come on life ... amuse me, merchant" |
