| What a peculiar confection of underwhelmingnesses it was. A strange mess of bran-tub drivel and a couple of OK original songs and half-arsed covers of actually good songs. Really not very good at all. I thought La-Butterpops would be well up for this commentary, but I can understand now why he gave it a wide berth.  Hardly a h8ful album, but strikingly mediocre.

I've got the album on CD, a remaster with bonus B-sides and such. I like it! It's got an earthy touch which the much blander follow-up hasn't. I think I gave it 4/5  |
