What should I do with my A Flock of Seagulls LPs?

Should I catalogue them in the bin under A or F?

Interesting question. If it was The Flock of Seagulls I'd say F straight off, but 'A' is more unusual as a prefix. I might be tempted to put them under A.

And what about groups who's names start with a number, like 1-Speed Bike or 310?




Do you spell them phonetically under T or put them at the start before A, or maybe at the end?

I file numbers under the letter they start with - for example, I file the 49ers under 'F' for 'Forty Niners'. 2 Unlimited under 'T'.

That's the opposite to how I've actually got them filed.

Not that I own anything by Chris de Burgh or Mr. Blobby, of course.

Although I own all of Thee Hypnotics albums.

Should Alice Cooper go under A or C? Does it matter if you're talking about Alice Cooper the group or the solo artist?
