This is a lot like one of those unexpectedly 'nice' New Order songs they did in the '90s.

Are these the same chords as East 17's Stay Now?

Re: The Lightning Seeds - Cloudcuckooland (1990).
It is over.
I felt that all its problems stemmed from the fact that he has a very weak voice and, as a producer, he felt he had to do everything he could do drown it out.
Now to look back at the thread and see what everybody else made of it.

That would explain a lot.
Saw him live in 1980.
In the South Playground.
Near where the ice cream van used to park.
Slint Lyric?
The Armoury Show's is, if I had to say, is the worst album I have ever heard.
Actually, no, that Lukas Graham album was worse.
:shudder:

Well, I thought that was going to be somewhat more enjoyable, but it was incredibly bland and sterile, with nothing of interest other than that one single, and a drum or two.

I have a Waterboys best of and they only did *that* one "big" song. The rest is quite folksy.
It's like Simple Minds after they went off covering something off The Pro and Cons of Hitchhiking.
But not as good.
