Opening stills from a film that it would be impossible to create in a normal human lifetime.

The entirely painted film composed of watercolours of stills from other films.

All created using one camera (a device I built myself using baton wood and elastic bands) to shoot multiple parts/sections of images from films recreated in watercolour and then overlaid, sped up and 'chroma keyed' as 'cells' in Final Cut.

It came to less than the above description.

I just wanted to recreate a slice of the picaresque lyrics by D. Bovvie on "Five Years".

Probably my favourite lyrics of all time.

Or at least the next five years.
