Mazes that amaze us
I say "mazes that amaze us", but the legendary Hampton Court maze isn't actually as big as I thought it would be.

The free maze at the Donkey Sanctuary in Dorset - which I've been in - is bigger and better.

Or maybe that's just because I've zoomed in more on that one.

But I've heard there are donkeys lurking behind every bend.

I like them in theory, but in practice I just don’t have the attention span to deal with them.

That would be fun. I love donkeys.

Me too. They look lovely when viewed from above but I don't think of frustration as fun really.
I've probably been in three or four mazes over the years and the one at the Donkey Sanctuary is the only one I genuinely enjoyed. Probably because it was free.

I agree. The only pleasurable part is looking at pictures of them from above.
I have sometimes wondered why more people don’t have them in their gardens - as we can see, they don’t need a vast amount of space. But I suppose you’d be doing nothing but trimming it.

I've only ever been in one as a primary school kid.
I'd like to be in one right now, so I could pretend to be Toni Braxton in the video to Breathe Again.
