The plucky lobster thread

Last night, I was watching a string of videos about this lobster which was rescued from a grocery store and given a brand new home where he could be free from the threat of being eaten. It was a strangely heartwarming story.

Apparently lobsters didn't used to be regarded as luxury food. They were so easy to catch that they were very cheap, and seen as being for poor people.

Though I expect it was also realated the fact that in those days the rivers and coastal seas where you catch 'em had a lot more s*** floating in them.
