I'm surprised to hear you ask that.

My understanding/experience is that the entire period between Christmas Day and the 2nd of January seems to be Sunday.

All the telly is 'festively' off-schedule, various shops are and aren't open or shut and people's w*rk schedules are stuttering on-off affairs, etc...

That said, perhaps the fact that Christmas Day was on Sunday and, as you pointed out in another thread, that meant the accompanying bank holiday day was shifted back a day or two has exacerbated the sense of a lingering, discombobulatory Sundayness?
