Did we know that a remix album of Paul Simon's Graceland was released last year? I'm not sure how official it is, and judging by the comments under this video opinions are very mixed, and very strong. shifty

I quite like it

It's official!

Graceland: The Remixes
In June 2018, Sony Music and Legacy Records issued Graceland - The Remixes, featuring remixes of Graceland songs by artists including Paul Oakenfold, Groove Armada and Thievery Corporation.

So what would a Groove Armada remix of You Can Call Me Al sound like? hmm

Prizes for those of you who can get past the first minute. cringe

It actually gets a bit better from 1:30.

Then finally gets pleasantly recognisable at 4:00.
Before returning back to the repetitive beginning again. gaah

Old as in largely born in the 70s? poke

But yes, they are of a certain 90s vintage, but then the best dance remixes are from the 90s - in my opinion.

It does come to something when MK, the person who created the famous bizarre sounds in the 1995 remix of the Nightcrawlers' Push the Feeling On, is featured.

This is hot. In my opinion.

Gary Numan - Cars ('93 Sprint)

Reached number 53 in the UK. What a Face This version was included on the 1994 Speed soundtrack.
