It really was a vey vey camp decade wasn't it. Up there with the best of them. Maybe more camp than the 1990s or 1980s ?

I never did see who won Playing It Straight, circa 2005. In fact, I think I only ever saw one episode.
Would a programme where a woman has to work out if a man is gay or not get made today, just 15 years later?

Davina McCall and Ed Byrne starred together in an actual ITV sitcom in 2001. It lasted for 6 episodes.

Wow. Were they supposed to siblings? Didn't realise how much they look the same just different clothes and haircuts.

And I was going to say The Boards of Canada, but they'd already said everything that they were going to say by Space year 2000.
Which as we all know was the last year of the 90s

After tears had turned to sobbing at the upsetting images shown during the most depressing song in the world "Who's Going To Drive You Home" by The Cars, I was searching for my credit card to donate by telephone. Having only just made out the number...
My compassion was overtaken by the horrifying performance Madonna put on - bringing the girl who had been the skeletal 1985 child on stage as a beautiful young picture of health. She then proceeded to dance and sang as if this girl was an inconvenient spare part.
I've rarely seen anything in such bad taste. My tears dried almost instantly. A real shame. Like A Prayer is the only Madonna song I ever really liked.

And I never liked Footballers Wives btw. You have no idea how difficult the early 2000's were for me because of that programme, or how many times it was referenced when I introduced myself to ostensibly polite people.

I remember liking Olivia Colman in that; now everyone goes on about how good she's supposed to be I've gone off her.
Whatever happened to Peter Serefodfkdfkndfz?

What did you think of her in The Favourite? I thought she was excellent, as was the film itself - greatly enjoyed it. She was also on point as the exclusionary and narcissistic stepmother in Fleabag.
