It's the fact that I usually turn my light (lamp, singular) on when I wake up or when it isn't anything other than gloriously fireball

.

You see, I almost always (in truth, always) have my curtains drawn shut.

It is however gloriously fireball

right now so my light (lamp, singular) is currently off.

I will however let you all know when I turn it (lamp, singular) on today. yes

I was referring to the purely illuminatory lights.

However, I did turn on the Christmas lights during the morning, to test them before putting them on the tree, as my old dad taught me to do, and again about 5pm when I'd finished decorating the tree.

It's so dark and gloomy today I've had the lights on all day, except when I was in town having my eyes tested of course, cos that would have been a waste of electricity.
