Did a spot of gardening today. The wet soil made it easier to dig up and (re)plant things and no need to water the plants when they're in to help with root shock as it's raining heavily anyway.

I didn't know that shock was a thing until my half sister and I were selling my fathers house. The gardens were shameful - and partly Tarmacked over by some gypsies he was renting the space to, so we went over to a celebrated garden ~~in two vehicles, in the middle of the night, with black binliners and a torch~~, for some inspiration. A good third of what was admired died.
