Yes, it's gone away completely now.

Unbelievably muggy now.

Here in this here Central London we're left with all the worst elements of a Summer thunderstorm.

Raining. Cooler. Nice.

I know it is often said, but tonight really is like sitting outside in the Caribbean.
It is SO nice.

Currently 17 degrees. Expected to peak at 26.

No great wind or rain expected.

It was stupidly hot last night. I had two ice-packs wrapped in a pillowcase.

Very cool and overcast outside, this morning.

Heating up in The 'Stow here.

At least this is a proper house with a garden and everything.

Still, just after midday and the garden is a bit of a no-go zone.

I feel like I'm being broiled.

There was a bit of a cool breeze when I walked to the Co-op.

Cloud and sun.

Very muggy, but temperature's dropped.

Time to brave Lidl on the High Street.

I've noticed we all have rather sombre avatars, in sepia and dull sage green.

Mine is a my portrait made by a 9-year-old from earthenware clay it is at the leather hard greenware stage and is situated upon a board of marine ply.

Allow me to add some gaiety into the mix.

It's turned considerably cooler, here, in the last two hours.

Now just 19 degrees outside.

It rained!

Big huge splotchy rain drops.

Then it stopped after about 10 minutes.

Now the blazing sunshine is out again.
