Both roundabouts at either end of the thrillingly named Domestic Road have double yellow lines.

I think it's because of The Hand's sinister influence that this section of road operates outside the normal laws of space-time.

It's true there are certain roundabouts where there's parking - but they're on low-speed roads, rather than no-stopping dual carriageways like the one we were discussing

Oh noes! our journey round the back of Gorleston has been thwarted - as journeys to the far edges of seaside resorts often are - just take a look at where Southend turns into Shoeburyness - by a port gate and menacing signs.

You have to turn off at the spartan Junction 39 and zap across to the A6.

I've only ever used J39 once, to turn round and go back south after my friend and I had motored up from Bolton to Tebay services for tea.

I have been compiling a map of all the junctions on the M1, M6 and M74 which have off-motorway petrol stations, and handy laybys where you can stop and read a map or whatever.

Ooh, the famous "Paris, Texas". The film also being where the band Texas got their name from.

Zooming out, you'd have thought they'd have put their Eiffel Tower in "downtown" Paris rather than on a giant concrete car park on the outskirts of the city.
