EastEnders - why is Sharon acting like she's frightened and penniless? One of the main reasons England is such a great place to get divorced is that none of your behaviour - including adultery - has any bearing on the financial settlement you're entitled to. That is only based on how much the couple are worth. It's inconceivable that she'd walk away with nothing.

Why has she allowed Phil to take the moral high ground over her? He had one of her ex husbands killed, had a baby with Denise, has brought more guns into that house than you'd find on an army base, and was recently involved in a people trafficking ring. There's more than enough there to have him placed safely on remand so she can get back inside the marital home.

Why is she just letting him take her son from her? His involvement in all the above would preclude him from custody. As indeed would his own well documented alcoholism and former crack cocaine addiction. The only plausible part of this has been that she'd leave Denny where he is for now - he can't be expected to sofa surf with his mother when he has a perfectly decent bedroom at home.

It's really annoyed me.

She's been divorced enough times herself to know all of this. The villa on the Algarve she was forced to buy because Mel was blackmailing her would also be pretty easy to prove. Anyone with any sense would already have a lawyer slapping a possession order on that place until probate had gone through fully and it had (almost certainly) been decided in Sharon's favour.
