| My problem with female vocals on folk songs is they're often employed in a lazily breathy, s*xy manner to allure the unwitting male unsure of what record he should buy at HMV. e.g. a sallow, spotty herbert is more likely to buy the record if a sylphlike waif with a voice like a dandelion clock is singing rather than a firm-voiced, nasal Dave Mattocks! _________________ The jibbedy-jabber-jaw jabbing at your funny bone, umm... | As the album trundles on I sense the band's limitation.

| I don't really feel the individuals are fully engaged with the genre. _________________ The jibbedy-jabber-jaw jabbing at your funny bone, umm... Skip the Ovaltine, I'd rather have my honeycomb

| Folk, isn't really supposed to drag like this.
The conspicuously posited girly vocals are no longer subtle enough to stretch the overall machination. _________________ The jibbedy-jabber-jaw jabbing at your funny bone, umm... Skip the Ovaltine, I'd rather have my honeycomb
