Yeah, when I made my post the sun was just visible as a pale circle through thick altostratus, and shortly afterwards spatters of rain began. Then about 5pm it started raining properly, and it still is.

It's a sunny blustery day here. There was a splendid squally shower about 11.50 - luckily I was only 100 yards from home on my way back from town when it started.

In fairness though, what with the weather being disturbingly all over the shop of recent, this is actually what March is traditionally supposed be like. happy
