I don't think so.

Y'know, in the '90s Ms. Up moved to Jamaica and became a full-time 'Gold Girl'.
She was a true and authentic devotee of all forms of Jamaican culture.
Quite a journey for an humble girl from München.

I can hear hints of Siouxsie Sioux and Bjork. I will, therefore, credit them with being influential.

I think Siouxsie Sioux was on her own path, although some of the more 'exotic' sounds she'd adopt later might've been informed by this.
The Bjork thing though, I'd never really considered that before...

I can't believe how long it took me to work out how to spell 'heir'.

I thought it started with Ae, or airess or something. I knew it wasn't Air, but one of those similar alterations. It's not Hairess is it?
