It is over.

That was a very dull album, burdened with an uninspired choice of songs, bland production and lacklustre musicianship. The only point of interest was her voice which was excellent. A faster drummer was needed.

Now to look back at the thread and see what everyone else made of it. Excited

It's amazingly good for the first 2/3s, but falls away into mediocrity in the last part.

Home Plate, is more consistent but I chose this instead because of that album's tendencies towards 'torch songs'.

Still, it's always a pleasure to listen to Bonnie Raitt.

She's one of the greatest singers and performers there've ever been.

Her voice is astounding.

I'll put a bet on Maria McKee and Lucinda Williams having her as one their main inspirations BTW. box
