I said I preferred it, not that it was perfect.

I reckon they're one of the sh*ttest bands ever.
Sometimes these Eurobands try so hard but fail fundamentally.

I disagree. I thought they were gear.
I dread to hear what the last 6 albums sound like mind you.

Indeed you could say, for me, their entire career was a slow death.

I see in the music press Morrissey is releasing a covers album;
01. Morning Starship (Jobriath) 02. Don’t Interrupt The Sorrow (Joni Mitchell) 03. Only A Pawn In Their Game (Bob Dylan) 04. Suffer The Little Children (Buffy Sainte Marie) 05. Days Of Decision (Phil Ochs) 06. It’s Over (Roy Orbison) 07. Wedding Bell Blues (Laura Nyro) 08. Loneliness Remembers What Happiness Forgets (Dionne Warwick) 09. Lady Willpower (Gary Puckett & the Union Gap) 10. When You Close Your Eyes (Carly Simon) 11. Lenny’s Tune (Tim Hardin) 12. Some Say I Got Devil (Melanie)

I think that that Morrissey covers LP tracklist is pretty good akshully.
Whether the record'll be any good however is another kwesching altogether however.
Don't Interrupt the Sorrow is a great song.
Damn right!

Marvin Gayes original is good of course but I prefer this version, presented in snippet form by Joan Osborne. Minus a million points go to James Taylor who has probably performed the worst remake in history. So bad he's come close to ruining the song completely, no matter what version I hear now.

I didn't know Joan Osborne had even made more than one record.

Seems odd that a Mötorhead cover would bring out the melody of the original, but there you go.
