Should this be considered a lost Carry On Film or not? Discuss.

I have never seen it but, reading it about it on Wikipedia, makes me think that it is another of those films that are Carry Ons in everything but name.

I'd never heard of it till today, but I'd say 'No it isn't a lost CO like Lose Head and Follow Camel.'

It's much earlier than them, it only stars 2 of the main names and it sounds simply like a more serious treatment of the same play that Nurse is supposedly based on.

It's no The Big Job.

Why does the poster make it look like one of those grotty Mary Millington/Fiona Richmond movies from the '70s then?

Because it's one of those gentle (unfunny) comedies, not one of those genital comedies

That should have been, "Best," not, "Nest."

When Connor/Howard find the oozlum's tail feather, is that not in an abandoned nest up a tree?

Never mind how Howerd spelt his name. Just look at the sheer acting power Connor's putting into that shot with the feather.

I have vague memories of a complete bird's nest complete with eggs landing on someone's head in Camping or that Crumpet one.

But I'm probably getting it confused with something else. Does this mean the Oozlum Bird's Nest is the Official Carry On Nest of the Forum
