It is over.
That was a strangely schizophrenic album, veering, as it did, between what you would see as the traditional ABBA sound and a more awkward, darker and uncertain sound. Given those clashes in style and mood, it struggles to flow or to fit together.
However, it feels like an album that would reward repeated listens, as one delves into its doll's house of hidden rooms, to fully appreciate its multiple faces. In some ways, could it be seen as their White Album, with the final track as their Cry Baby Cry?
Now to look back at the thread and see what everyone else made of it.
