I've just walked all the way to the big Sainsburys and back, before breakfast. I bought the FT, some wholemeal pittas, a gift bag for my dad's present, and a bottle of expensive vermouth.

Not recognising it, I've just looked at it.

It has a 9-digit number on it, written in my handwriting.

I don't have a clue what it is.

Or how long it's been there.
