I've just bought a TV.

I wasn't going to, given my recent expenditure, but eBay gave me a 20% off voucher, meaning I managed to get a 22" TV for less than £80.

And it's by a company I've actually heard of.

I have a bag of pasta.

Why don't you make big batches of tomatoey, herby, garlicky pasta sauce and freeze it?

Then you can microwave it to defrost it and serve it with the pasta and all cheese on top.

Also, you can use it as a base for different dishes and add other things to it to make soups, stews, curries etc.

An entire, filling meal can be made for about 30p per dinner.

It's the tastiest and surest way to save money.

Also Wenders, be sure that some of those frozen veg are proteinous ones like peas and sweetcorn.

I'm currently planning on mushy peas, Brussels sprouts, mixed peppers, onions and mushrooms, frozen veg-wise.

All covered in mashed potatoes, so I can't taste any of it.

Frozen Mushrooms?
