Apparently, people are tweeting the most common birds they see through their windows, and everyone's seeing wood pigeons.

Plump looking ones!

I saw a thrush on Thursday.

First time I've seen one in years.

On more than one occasion in the last week I've seen two wood pigeons on the lawn chasing each other.

I've also seen a wood pigeon keep entering and exiting one of the leylandii trees at the front of the house. There might be a nest within.

The Magic Roundabout is trendng on Twitter.

It seems to be trending purely because of people randomly and spontaneously talking about it.

You've just made me spontaneously whistle the Magic Roundabout theme tune

Mind you, I'm an easy target. I can't see a rainbow without singing the Rainbow opening theme.

"Moon and Venus," is trending on Twitter.

Apparently, they're both in the sky at the moment.

Isn't that normal?

You won't find them anywhere else, that's for sure.

I had a brief walk in the garden in the dark earlier and noticed a very bright planet in the sky.

I know it was a planet, as opposed to a star, as stars twinkle, and this one didn't.

Another chance to see right now, about 6 degrees (12 full moon widths) apart in the West.

There seems to be some Belle & Sebastian-related goings on on Twitter. I'm not sure if it's a lockdown gig or something but Tim Burgess seems to be involved.

Are they still going?!

Upon further investigation I'm not sure that is the band though, and everyone seems clueless as to why "moist" is trending.
