It is over.
That was a very dull album. It sounded like Denny Laine trying to make a John Lennon album while suffering from a bad cold. Everybody needed to play faster and he needed to repeat melody lines a lot less often.
Now to look back at the thread and see what everybody else made of it.

I've given it a very generous ★★★.
It should by rights be ★★, but I do love the opening track so much that it swung me away from deep sense of moribundity the rest conveyed.

They’re releasing this with a 50th anniversary remix, which might help lift the lifeless early 70s production.
