Well, I think it's a great album.
Weird, grimy, grotty, ugly, jarring, oppressive and yet bejewelled with a sweeping, epic masterpiece.
Unusual and oblique and obtuse by most standards.
Quite visionary.
Also, Street Hassle is so good, so deeply affecting and bitterly bittersweet it deserves reverence beyond it's notoriety.
It's an album I grew up with from my mid-teens and helped stretch my idea of what music could be.
