You say that like it's a bad thing.

It is over.

That was a very pleasant record, possibly suffering from a degree of musical blandness and being too neat and tidy.

Now to look back at the thread and see what everybody else made of it.

I shall give it 4 stars.

Well, I think that was triffic.

Very consistent, melodically pleasing and lyrically mysterious.

Top notch power pop for the Top of the Pops oddbods and odds 'n sods.

They've actually done a fair few albums, but this and the one from last year have marked a bit of a departure that's alienated a good number of their core fanbase.

Other albums have better individual albums on them, but they also suffer cripplingly from have this bloke on them who also contributes songs and, worse still, sings them.

His stuff is unlistenable.

His voice is like having Jif lemon squirted in your eye.

Actually, that last one does sound like Belle and Sebastian, only better.
