| I love that guy's enthusiasm, and the way he still can't stop himself saying .'It's technically only a funnel cloud'.
Whatever next though?
Waterspouts at Cleethorpes?
A hurricane flattening Barnsley? _________________ ' "Haven't got houses." Where do they live then?'

| I'm sure I've heard that tornadoes are more likely to form over the UK than they are to form over the usually suspected parts of the USA. It's just that our more frequent ones aren't so large, and don't tend to run into towns made up of plywood hovels and trailer parks. It's their own fault for building houses from cardboard.
I've also heard it said that Stirling and Perthshire is more earthquake active than California. Just that nothing dramatically violent or particularly noticeable has happened there - not that it couldn't. Near constant shaking of some hills is never going to beat the fear of the Hollywood sign collapsing into an LA apocalypse. |

| I was visiting Cheddar Gorge last week and it rained so heavy that the roads turned into rivers and flooded a load of Shops/Pubs/Hotels there, a real flash flood, nothing the owners could do. |
