I phoned up today to arrange to have my hair cut. They said they couldn't do my usual trim, and instead I had to have a cut and blow dry because of COVID.

That sounds a bit suspicious to me. They didn't have that rule for the previous 18 months of the pandemic.

I think they're just trying to upsell me.

I should definitely make enquiries with other hairdressers.

I had my hair cut on Monday.

There were no restrictions at all.

They didn't even make me wear a mask.

Today is haircut day. I had to get up at 4.15 so as to be sure of getting there by 9.

That went very smoothly. I did have to have my hair washed, I've never had that done at a salon before. It was weird, a bit like I was in hospital.

I have a hairdresser in Glasgow now. It makes me feel very metropolitan going into the big city to have my hair cut.

Tomorrow I have to go the face beautification place to have my face beautified. Very early too, I have to leave at 8am.
