Cat or Tw*t?

Nightjar wrote:Completely awesome.
This song has everything.
Nightjar wrote:- A proper narrative
- An epic, ambitious conceptual, lyrical reach
- Full and proper strings
- A proper guitar solo
- Two proper saxamaphone solos
- A gorgeous lushness of productions
- An unashamed and authentic sense of nostalgia
11/10

It is over.
It was pleasant enough but he had a weak voice and the songs were mostly nondescript and, too often, sounded too much like each other.
Now to look back at the thread and see what everybody else made of it.

Well, that was better than I remember.
I actually own this on vinyl and, when I first gave it a spin, only really liked the first and last songs.
Of course the album sat comfortably between my T/G and Geto Boys albums, but the content seemed more than a bit anaemic.
That listen rehabilitated it somewhat.
Still, track 1 and track last are the best songs.

A wildly excessive, frankly idiotic ★★★★ from me.
