A telescope used for astronomy gives an image that is upside down, an erector prism turns it the right way up and also makes it easier to look through the eyepeice of a refractor telescope.

Well I reckon the stars are photoshopped in but I think the Moon is correct, the natural colours have been enhanced.....I'm sure I have seen the photog explain it somewhere. I want to get an astro CCD camera then I can start some proper imaging.

That's an impressive telescope he's fondling in the still.
My own humble 8" SCT has been packed back in its delivery box for the move. I left the mount out, though, and it impressed the estate agent.
