This is exciting for me. Whilst rummaging through my old files, I have found a sheet of paper, dated 2009, with nothing but the words, "Have you ever laminated anything?" written on it.

I can only assume that it was an idea for a thread that I never launched.

To celebrate its discovery after all this time, I am, therefore, launching it.

Excuse me, two people have said they've laminated something compared to two who haven't.

It could be more, granted, but it's hardly a deficiency.

I'm touched that Wendi has not only been jotting down notes for threads with which to interest us for at least 9 years, but that she carefully dates each idea.

Other than you need to make sure the laminating machine is up to the correct operating temperature.

I've just stopped laminating permanently from this exact moment to save the planet.

Semi-lamination isn't good enough for me. I demand full lamination.

A photo of a girlfriend which I kept in my wallet. But it was the 90s and that kind of thing was a thing back then.
We didn't have mobiled phones to store pictures, it was either a laminated photograph kept in a wallet or you carried around a framed photo. Despite being cumbersome, no one seemed to mind.
