Then I watched a battle simulation by the 16th Air Assault Brigade.
Then I spent some time stalking people I know on "Right Move" finding out how much they paid for their houses.
Is this town big enough for two NHOTWers?
I don't think Essex is big enough for 2 NHOTWers.

I haven't been to Essex since 1986 when we stayed for a few days on a council estate in Harlow. ![curtsey](/users/3715/63/33/29/smiles/2815410507.gif)

Re: What's happening in your life?
I worked out, if I'm downsizing and sold something on eBay for £5 and it needs £3 second class postage
The Buyer pays me £8
Paypal give me £8 Minus 30p+ 3%
eBay take 10% of the £8.
I have to wrap, walk to the post office, spend £3 posting it, put it on eBay, write a description, take photos of, take the abuse when the buyer finds a slight mark some where all for £3.66.
I'm not doing it anymore.

Don't forget though that you no longer have to store the item - £6 per cubic foot per year at average storage centre rates, or, if you're the same age as me, £130 per cubic foot as a lump sum to cover the rest of your life expectancy (and that's allowing 1% real discount rate).

I just took the Avengers DVDs down to the charity shop, I do a lot of work for Charrity.
I may still have the backups on my NAS Drive![evil2](/users/3715/63/33/29/smiles/364468454.gif)

Basildon ...
Jaywick - not posh at all, and cheap and tatty and horrible
Basildon - not posh.
Clacton - not posh now, and with certain political connotations, but when I was a little fangirl, it was a middle-of-the -road seaside resort. Posher than Southend but not so posh as Frinton
Frinton - Hyacinth Bucket thinks it's posh, Jacob Rees Mogg doesn't. That kind of posh.

My real guess isRickabilly Billericay.

I thought we all knew the town where Fangirl lives. Although having said that, I think it's one of two Essex towns which I always get mixed up between, both beginning with the same letter.

Re: What's happening in your life?
Billericay is much too posh for me. I did have a month of 'work experience' at a charity there in 1992. I remember lunching off digestive biscuits and Dairylea triangles in the car park, and feeling very sorry for myself indeed.

Re: What's happening in your life?
I was born in Billericay.
I DID live in Jaywick after my Dads business went bust and they lost the house etc.
That was 1963!
I was 3yrs old.
I now live on a Roman road close to an ancient earthworks system.
And...Yes,as suggested above I'm up for pulling Nightjars feathers out for the rude remarks
