Ultimately, I was only really disappointed by the lack of trademark Slade spelt song titles.

It was a quite odd confection in truth.

A strange, somewhat uneven syncretism of musical eras and pastiches.

Not exactly a Slade album, weirdly.

The Beatles loomed very large over the whole proceedings (as well as a number of other late '60s artistes) and, throughout most of it, Noddy's supercharged vocals were the only thing that reminded you that it was a Slade album after all.

I was going to give it 4/5, but now I see that Wendi's gone faintly berserk...

Fun though.

In a lurking all day headache at the back of the cranium you can't shake sort of way.
