It was a quite odd confection in truth.
A strange, somewhat uneven syncretism of musical eras and pastiches.
Not exactly a Slade album, weirdly.
The Beatles loomed very large over the whole proceedings (as well as a number of other late '60s artistes) and, throughout most of it, Noddy's supercharged vocals were the only thing that reminded you that it was a Slade album after all.
I was going to give it 4/5, but now I see that Wendi's gone faintly berserk...
