| I have cheese in my fridge. I think it's Double Gloucester. Despite its name, it doesn't seem to be twice the size of Single Gloucester. _________________ |

| I've just had nachos Flanders style (cucumber slices with cream cheese) followed by lentil cakes with cream cheese and avocado.
Very nice with a glass of organic pinot grigio. _________________ ' "Haven't got houses." Where do they live then?'

| I have bought some Mexican cheese which has chili in it. I don't know how that's going to mix with my peanut butter sandwiches. _________________ |

| As a combination cheese and peanut butter is... unthinkable, never mind adding chilli to the mix.

| I only buy mozzarella, Parmesan, and Stilton. Generally not from supermarkets.
However, on Stilton, the best supermarket variety I ever tried came from Iceland. And a generous size too. I drove to a branch specially before Christmas and they had none in stock.
I do like other types, I just don't buy them. Feta is problematic because it doesn't taste the same outside Greece. When I lived there a slice of feta sitting in a small plate of olive oil, with green salad drizzled with the juice of a fresh lemon was my most regular meal. And I was very good at making it/putting it all together.
My mother in law liked hers with orange instead of lemon! So I used to pick fresh oranges off the street tree that shaded my balcony. Due to it being a very polluted city, those oranges tasted quite strongly of petrol, so it was convenient to offload them onto her and watch her tuck in.

| It was very upsetting. I consoled myself with a two pack of Greggs Steak Bakes from the freezer section, so it wasn't a completely wasted trip. |

| I've got some delicious M&S Manchego.
I bought it 2 months ago when I discovered that M&S was queue-free, and was so delighted to find cheeses outside the Co-op's range that I bought about five different kinds, and I've been steadily working my way through them ever since. _________________ ' "Haven't got houses."
