I guess that I'm thinking of places in the UK (and possibly Ireland), but in truth you can find rap and hip-hop in the most far flung and humble/exotique locations...
So, NYC, LA, Chicago/London Drill, Miami Bass and even Parisian hip-hop is banned.
The big UK cities are borderline cases.
London, Manchester, Brummagem, Brizzle etc...
Obscure and/or seriously oldpskool artists are permitted, but no, say... Stormzy or Dave etc.
Also, in regards Ireland - none of those rubbish bands like Marxman or the like.

The genuinely good, and I've heard of them, Welsh Language (sometimes) Tŷ Gwydr:
Mind you, they probably all live in that there London or something, I think one of them was in the Banned, the group on Eastenders.
And that's more House with rapping than Hip-hop. Oh well.

There's also that Justified Ancients of Mu-Mu, album. Sung in a Scottish accent so strong you don't need to know he'd been living in that there England for 10 years.
