Loafo is really much too good for this album.

The title is very Meat Loaf innit?

Cue leaden guitar solo.

What a very underwhelming choice for a final song.

This is very ordinary 70s rock, by the high standards of this album.

Over.

It is over.

It was certainly a vigorous album but the incessant guitar noodling made it impossible to retain interest in it.

Now to look back at the thread and see what everyone else made of it.

A plodding procession from beginning to end that.

In fairness, despite my severe prejudice, it started off in lively fashion and, at its apogee, when the Loafster got a proper go on lead vocals, it had a fleeting dalliance with being actually OK.

By the end however even his talents couldn't mask the paucity of the material or do anything to change my view of Nugent as both a mediocre musician and all round douchebag.
