It's basically just hard blues-rock, but with the occasional bit of something interesting or tantalisingly different.
Things that are interesting or tantalisingly different manifesting only very briefly before being consumed in yet more hard blues-rock.

Sounds like the sort of thing you'd give to David Bowie, and he'll co-write 2 songs on one of his albums using bits and pieces.
