Re: What's that in your bank holiday eyeballs?
By now, Ian Ogilvy would've crashed three sports cars and five speedboats.

A man has turned up who I recognise from somewhere else.

He played a villain in some film but I can't remember what.

Oooh, hold on. He was the villain in The Plague of the Zombies.
That was about voodoo.
And, so far, in this episode, all he's done is talk about voodoo.
Coincidence?
Or something altogether more grave-emptying?

So far, this is much classier than Return of the Saint but, also, much duller.

And Ian Ogilvy was in Witchfinder General!

The Call of the Wendigo wrote:Of The Witches, the Radio Times says it stars Clint Eastwood as a husband battling comic-strip characters for the love of his wife.
Nightjar wrote:It seems to be a Hammer portmanteau film where the directors are among the gr8est Italian directors of all time.
Antonioni, Pasolini, De Sica...
It sounds completely bizarre.
That film is instead:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Witches_(1967_film)
Clint is in the final segment:
"An Evening Like the Others"
Clint Eastwood is a western movie lover who does not know how to change the flat relationship with his wife. One day the character disguises himself as a gunslinger to entertain his wife, but she is not impressed and he realizes that their relationship is broken forever. In the final scene, she imagines herself as a glamorous star, walking along in an evolving series of haute couture while being ogled by a growing crowd of middle-aged businessmen. She lastly dons a magnificent gown made of multiple layers of silk, each in a vibrant shade, which she peels away layer by layer.
One of the Radio Times's more baroque booger-oops I think.

Every woman in this film is like Betty Marsden in Carry On Camping.
