This album sounds, like…

| This is one of the better songs on the album in fairness. _________________ Disprove the return of a potato (5)

| If only the lyrics and singing weren't so sepulchral this would be quite -worthy. _________________ Disprove the return of a potato (5)

| I think that this one might be OK too.
I mean, relatively speaking. _________________ Disprove the return of a potato (5)

| It is over. It was OK but lacked the variety that would have made it interesting. Now to look back at the thread and see what everybody else made of it. _________________ |

This album is getting better. That's the 9 pints of Stella and accompanying 9 Goldschläger depth charges you downed about an hour ago kicking in. _________________ Disprove the return of a potato (5)

| Ended.
I remember it being better.
Half the songs sounded like the sort of tracks they dig up to stick onto bonus CDs To rush out re-releases of the famous album when the artist dies.
Mind you'd I'd rather try this on again to see if anything sticks than the MC5 one.

| Obviously John and Beverley were to blame... However, I always remember this album, despite its brevity and supposed acoustic lightness, being a bit of a heavy trip. Especially if you were 17 and had been indulging in hash bongs. And especially if you'd been me at that time and would've'd liked to be brave and admit you'd rather listen to Five Leaves Left. Or, maybe, er... A tom Heart Mother... Anyway, this album has a quality of gloominess and insularity that makes the last few tracks on The Madcap Laughs seem genuinely cheerful. _________________ Disprove the return of a potato (5)

| 3 pages of commentary is a pretty feeble showing.
MC5 managed 5. _________________ Disprove the return of a potato (5)
