Coincidence, or something altogether more sinister? :scared;

The New Hall of the Wendigo has done it's magic again, and 3/5 review has reignited Nick Drake's career!

However, I always remember this album, despite its brevity and supposed acoustic lightness, being a bit of a heavy trip.

Especially if you were 17 and had been indulging in hash bongs.

And especially if you'd been me at that time and would've'd liked to be brave and admit you'd rather listen to Five Leaves Left.

Or, maybe, er... Atom Heart Mother...

Anyway, this album has a quality of gloominess and insularity that makes the last few tracks on The Madcap Laughs seem genuinely cheerful.
