As it's Macca's 80th birthday on Saturday (I think), I feel it's appropriate that, that night, we should do his last remaining album that we've not done a running commentary on.

Hope of Deliverance got to number 18 in the hit parade, C'mon People made 41, and oh, it doesn't say how well the 3 and 4th singles did in the chart.

Still with art-work like this, how could they fail?

Ooh, produced by Julian Mendelsohn, he was the big name in record production at the time.

The time being 5 years before this album came out.

That's not fair, he did do that Tasmin Archer album we all know and love.

Who plays drums on this album? I think it's my favourite drumming on a Paul McCartney album.

According to Wikipedia, he seems to have played drums with everybody.
