Nice and sunny now.

Going back to CT's acceptable states of weather, I feel there are others.

Dark grey rolls of cloud, but not raining, and windy, so you feel cosy inside.

Wet Saturdays where you can stay indoors and potter about the house without feeling that you're wastingthe day.

Showery days in May where there's constantly big clouds rolling up from the west with the exciting chance of thunder.

Cold, wet, windy day. Luckily I'm inside bashing databases about.

That's the drawback with Scotland, it's awful dark in the mornings once autumn gets going. It shouldn't be this dark at 8am!

It has been tipping it down, here, for hours and hours and hours.

Also, it is 9:37 and I've still got the light on.

Today is just such a day.

I never feel cosy in rain and I hate dark grey skies, so I’m glad I’m not in Glasgow. It’s quite OK here.

I do enjoy a good storm occasionally, at night.

Did they build it on a floodplain or something?

It's sandwiched between the city's main river and a canal and is just about the lowest point in Sheffield.

All the water from the hills finds its way there.
