It was so nice and sunny yesterbork.

I got loads done.

Organised all my 'papers' and cleaned and tidied the Bijou Mini-Flatlet up all nice.

Today's been so absolutely bleak and dismal it all seems like it just wasn't worth it.

Raining here. And the drain in the hotel driveway's blocked again. Last time that happened, the flood was so deep that the heat shield came off the bottom of my car after I drove through it.

Indeed the man at Kwik Fit said I needn't get it replaced straight away, it's apparently only an issue if you get stuck in a traffic jam in the summer.

It rained all yesterday evening. I'm going outside as soon as it's light, to see how big the flood is.

I've looked at the lake. It looks passable, but more rain is forecast later. If I went to the storage unit, it might be too deep when I come back. And I don't want the remaining heat shield coming off too, just before my long journey to Essex.

I shall abandon my planned day at the storage place, and potter about the hotel room instead.
