I'm yet to have a positive experience in Italy and specifically of Italians.

Parochial hardly covers it.

Or if you're generally nice to them and aren't giving off a vibe of strong dislike to outright hatred. I think that's underrated when deciding if entire ethnicities are beyond the pale.

The thing that concerns me is that the Nu-HotW is a "new build".

The old HotW was obviously an medieval castle with all cobwebs and turrets on and a haunted Victorian mansion extension out the back, but this version is just a modest 8-storey block of flats with lifts, exit signs and fire extinguishers on every mezzanine level.

I can't see how a humble example of municipal architecture that looks like it was built and designed in the late '60s could possibly be haunted by an ancient apparition from the dim and distant past.

'Places aren't haunted. People are.'

In any case, the NHOTW might have been built on a site where something spooky previously was.
