That sounds terrifying. But when I looked it up, I saw that it was quite common with throat infections.

Maybe this autumn/winter will be the year a cold or flu will visit. I’ve been waiting for one for ten years now. Other people seem to catch them like buses.

After feeling awful all day yesterday, and having melancholy ruminations about being found dead in my storage unit, I feel better this morning. That's unexpected.

I've had a cold - yes, I think just an ordinary cold - for the last few days. It started with a relatively mild sore throat on Friday night and now that has gone I'm at the blocked nose and snuffly stage.

No feeling ill though. cheer

It's the first "illness" I've had since I had Covid last summer. Halls lozenges, Soothers and Strepsils consumed. eat
