My theory:
Barry couldn't deal with the fact that Andy was the most handsome and talented singer and the best songwriter with the most magnificent mane of hair and the most awesome teeth in the band and thus obviously felt threatened - ergo: the murders of his brothers were enacted, in cold and calculated fashion, over four decades in order that the only popular consensus - to stop people thinking Andy was the best Bee-Gee - were literally dispatched one after the other.
