| There’s nothing Titchmarsh won’t acquiesce with in order to stay on television. All the hungriest stars pale in comparison to Alan - Madonna thinks she’s the queen of reinvention, but she’s not big in North Korea, is she! If she’d done things the Alan Titchmarsh way, she would be. She’ll live and learn when they put a statue of him up in the capital. |

| I feel for her. I wouldn’t say Sharon is a granny name - I’d say, much like my own, it’s a late middle aged tarts name, although Sharon is more downmarket.
There aren’t many old ladies called Sharon, and there aren’t many young people called it. It’s a 50-70 year olds (which now I think of it, is a granny age) name, suggesting heaving bosoms straining against animal print fabric, with a lot of scaffolding holding them above the waistline.
That’s what ‘Sharon’ says to me. Maybe I should tell her, it might make her feel better. It might be making a younger impression than she fears.
